Ethan thought for a moment, then said, "Here," and literally swept him off his feet, lifting him to carry bridal style the rest of the way.

"Ethan!" Scott whined. "Put me down! I'm not a fucking girl! I can walk just fine! Well, not right now, but I can!"

"No. If you're gonna keep bitching, I'm gonna carry you," Ethan replied, "Suck it up and be grateful that I care."

"I'm extremely grateful," Scott huffed, blowing a piece of stray hair from his face. "If you wanted, you could just carry me around all day, you know. I wouldn't mind."

"I would, but you're already getting to be heavy," Ethan muttered, putting Scott back on the ground as they finally reached the trailer.

"You're so mean!" Scott said, smacking him on the head. "Are you insinuating that I'm heavy or I'm fat or something?"

"No, I'm saying that carrying someone for a prolonged period of time causes discomfort in the limbs," Ethan replied, using terms that he knew Scott wouldn't understand.

"Don't be such a smartass," Scott grumbled, and then decided that instead of beating the shit out of Ethan, knocking on the door would be more productive. "Tara!! Let us in!!"

Tara glared at the door, then walked out to open it. "Finally," she grumbled, "You took forever." she then looked around, "Do you guys know where Kai and Parker are?"

Ethan shook his head with a shrug. Quite frankly, he hadn't seen either, since he and Scott were holed up in his trailer most of the day and night.

Tara groaned, looking around, "Valerie!! Can you go wake the others?!"

"Wait... what is the other manager doing in your trailer?" Scott asked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, gross! You two didn't...! Did you?! Too much info!"

"No, we didn't," Valerie deadpanned, and shoved her way past the two idiots. "Yes, I'm going to go get them. I swear to God, if they did anything inappropriate the night before a concert... They are so dead." She walked over to Kai's trailer, and knocked, hoping someone would answer so she wouldn't have to barge in.

"You again?" Kai asked, opening his door. "So I'm guessing Tara wants us. Parker, stop eating my cereal and come on! We have to go to Tara's trailer!"

"Jeez, I'm hurrying up," Parker said. "And I wasn't eating your cereal. I was mainly test-tasting it for poisons so that I could make sure it was safe for you. Hey, Val! So, we are off to your insane manager's?"

"So... Tara, tell me, anything interesting happen last night by any chance?" Scott said, jokingly poking his manager in the side. "It's okay, you don't have to hide your sexual preferences from me. I kind of already guessed too, so spill it."

"How about this," Tara said sourly, "tell me why you and Ethan are suddenly fucking. It's okay, you don't have to hide your sexual preferences from me." She swirled her spoon in what was left of her Rice Krispies, which was now mostly milk with a few soggy cereal bits left.

"Because..." Scott pushed Ethan in front of him and whispered to him, "She likes you. You give her a reason so she doesn't bite my head off. Please?"

"No fucking way!" Ethan hissed, "She doesn't like anyone, especially not at 6:30AM. Don't throw me to the lions." He begged.

"I'm waiting," Tara said, smirking maliciously, "Hurry up, Scotty."

"Hey! Only Kai can call me 'Scotty'," Scott interjected, pouting. "First of all, why is it any of your business? If I were you, I'd just be glad we were finally getting along, okay?"

"I can call you Scotty if you're going to try to get in my personal life," Tara replied, taking out her cell phone and quickly sending a text message. She sifted through some old messages, finally pulling up one from a few days prior, "And also, I have a boyfriend." she said, showing them the screen.

"Oh, I feel so bad for him!" Scott yelled, and began fake-crying. "It's so sad! He could do so much better, and yet he screws around with my homicidal manager who is cheating on him with another girl!" He dramatically threw his arms around Ethan and sobbed into his shoulder. "It's one of the great tragedies of life, Ethan!"

Ethan scowled, pushing Scott off of him, "Please, stop before she kills us."

Tara glared at the two of them, then scooped some of her Rice Krispie slush with the plastic spoon. She took her aim, then catapulted the mush right into Scott's face.

"Ew, gross!" Scott wailed, wiping the offending Rice Krispies off of his face. "That's disgusting! What are we, grade schoolers?! Don't throw food! God damn it! That's completely revolting!"

"Then stop calling me a lesbian," Tara replied, scooping up another spoonful warningly.

"Yes, now come on, Valerie, Parker," Kai said, and walked over to his manager's trailer. "Tara, we're here!" He threw the door open, and shoved the other two in before walking in himself. "Yo, Scotty! ... Ethan."

"Took you long enough," Tara grumbled, "If you'd come sooner, maybe Scott here wouldn't have questioned my sexuality." She glared daggers at Scott, preparing her spoon just in case.

"Hey, I was just curious!" Scott said defensively. "Valerie was here, so I assumed things..." He shrugged. "Can you blame me, though?"

"What about me?" Valerie asked. "No--We're just friends, Scott. How would you like it if I assumed things about you and Ethan? Even though my assumptions would be undoubtedly correct..."
