Ethan gave Scott a long, calculating look, then snuffed the cigarette out, because he totally doesn't want to kill the guy he's dating. Ethan has needs, really.

"Thank you," Scott said, smiling. "So, anyway, listen, I came up with a good idea. Well, kind of. We should totally do it. On stage. Not like it, but stage gay. You know?"

"You're fucking kidding me," Ethan muttered, fingers itching for another cigarette before he remembered that his boyfriend was there and Ethan didn't want him to, you know, die. "What are we, Panic at the fucking Disco?"

"Wow, okay, you could have just said 'no'. And Christ, don't compare us to Panic at the Disco, even though one guy is pretty motherfucking hot," Scott grumbled, crossing his arms. "I just thought, you know, it'd be cool to totally get felt up on stage, but if you don't want to, that's okay. We can just do something else instead."

"Wow, that was totally a mental picture I didn't need." Scott shook his head, sighing. "My manager 'all hot and bothered'. Fuck, dude, she's like my sister. And seriously, I'm hot, too. Well, not sexy like you per se, but just totally gorgeous. Every song you've ever written is dedicated to my immense beauty."

"None of them are about you. I've dated other people, you know." Ethan says, pointedly not mentioning The Album of Epic Pining, as it was unofficially named, the one that he wrote in high school when he just sat at his desk and stared at Scott for most of the day, because really.

"Yeah, you've dated other people," Scott said, rolling his eyes. "And I like girls. That just doesn't work. And, you know, we should write a song together. But you'll have to come up with most of the words, because I admit that I'm seriously bad at writing lyrics. Oh, if this makes you feel any better, I tried to write about you, too."
