"I don't remember those rules ever being established before, Kai," Scott whined. "I don't wanna sit in the middle!"

"Well, you are the smallest," Parker agreed, smirking. "I really do think it'd be the best if you did."

Ethan pursed his lips, looking at the backseat. Three seats, four people. "Here," he offered, shoving Parker and Kai in, then seating himself. Before Scott could complain, Ethan lifted him easily by the waist, placing the smaller boy on his lap.

"No problem," Tara nodded, rolling her eyes.

"Great solution," Kai said, rolling his eyes. "So I'm guessing you two are reconciled now? Seeing as it looks like you two probably jumped on the rainbow train last night or something."

"Look who's talking," Ethan retorted, glaring at Kai, "I'm sure you guys had lots of fun 'watching a movie' last night." he did air quotes around "watching a movie". He smirked, "Looks like it's a new fad."

"Hey, all we really did was watch a movie, I swear," Parker grumbled, shoving his best friend in the side. "Shut up."

"Ooh, someone's a little pissed he didn't get any, isn't he?" Scott said, snickering. "Oh well! Drive fast, Tara! I'm really, really hungry. Where are we going to eat, anyway?"

"S-Scott, be quiet!!" Kai whispered harshly, hoping Parker wasn't paying attention, waving his hands wildly. "And I say we just go to some McDonald's or Wawa or something. Faster breakfast."

"Shut up, Scott." Ethan hissed in the smaller boy's ear, a bit surprised that Scott wasn't trying to get away. On second thought, that was probably a good thing, because Scott's squirming would make a very uncomfortable car ride for Ethan.

"How about Denny's?" Tara asked, pulling out of the lot. She fiddled with the radio, eventually settling on a station that was playing some Bon Jovi songs.

"Yes!" Scott agreed loudly, almost to the point of screaming. "I love Denny's! They have awesome bacon there. It's, like, one of my favorites. I officially declare that we are going to Denny's, and no one can change that, so if you disagree, don't bother."

"Scott, please, try to be quieter in a car, all right?" Valerie asked, turning around. "I'm sitting right in front of you, and I think you just burst one of my eardrums with your insanely loud volume."

"Ow, shit Scott, that's right in my ear!!" Ethan protested, flicking Scott's temple, "But Denny's does sound pretty good." he added, his stomach grumbling in agreement.

"Jesus Christ. I'm not loud. You all just have sensitive ears," Scott muttered, crossing his arms defiantly. "Okay, so, Tara! Onward to Denny's! I'm gonna eat myself into Bolivia."

"... You mean oblivion," Valerie corrected, furrowing her eyebrows.

Scott thought for a moment, then looked back at her, confused. "That's what I said. Oblivion."

Ethan smacked Scott upside the head, quite happy with his new vantage point. "You tard, it's Oblivion. Bolivia's a country." However, he had to stifle his laughter, because, really, it was freaking adorable how Scott acted like a total sometimes.

Not that Ethan would ever admit that.

"Yes!" Kai said, looking out the window. "Tara, Tara! We're almost there! I can see it!"

"Yes!" Scott shouted happily. "Food, food, food, food..." He could feel his mouth watering as he bounced up and down excitedly on... well, Ethan.

"Scott..." Ethan hissed through his clenched teeth, grabbing the smaller one's hips with a death grip, "Stop. Fucking. Bouncing. Now." He was becoming very, very uncomfortable, and just perfect timing, too. Right when they were going to the restaurant. Fucking perfect, Scott.

"Hmm?" Scott answered, turning his head so he could look at Ethan. "Oh, right, my bad." He grinned sheepishly at the other before settling on just swinging his legs.

Ethan groaned pathetically, then glanced toward the two managers. "The bathroom is reserved for me!" he announced to the whole car, sending death glares that clearly said, "Say anything and I'll murder you."

"My God, Scott, you idiot..." Kai said, annoyed, as he banged his forehead against the window.

Valerie slumped downward in her seat, unable to comment as she blushed madly. That's completely disgusting, she thought to herself.

Scott blushed, and adverted his eyes, just deciding to look out the window as the rolled into the parking lot. "Yes, food!" he shouted, opening the car door and hurling out of the car as they parked in a parking space. "Are you coming or what?!" He grabbed Ethan and pulled him out of the car. "I'll get a table! You... do whatever you need to do."

"I hate you..." Ethan whimpered to Scott, sulking all the way to the restroom.

Tara led them all to the podium, and said, "Table for...six." The waitress nodded, grabbing some menus and leading them to a rather secluded table in the far corner, with two chairs on one side and the booth on the other. Tar sat herself in one of the chairs, picking p her menu and scanning it with an air of boredom.

"Hey... did anybody realize we're all still in our pajamas?" Kai asked. "Well, with the exception of Scott and Ethan who probably put their clothes back on from last night quickly in a flurry of epic proportions this morning."

"Shut up, Kai," Scott grumbled, hitting Kai across the head with his menu. "We didn't even do anything last night, and apparently you and Parker didn't either, so I would shut it before you get hurt."

"Speak for yourself," said Tara, who seemed to be torn between french toast and pancakes for her breakfast, "Besides, it just looks like you're wearing sweatpants and t-shirts. Not my fault you never got dressed." She shrugged, then finally decided on the french toast.
