"Have fun," Scott said dryly, and buried his face into a pillow. After a couple of minutes of counting sheep, and Ethan had still yet to return from changing, Scott called to him, "Ethan! What are you doing in there? Are you all right?"

Ethan wiped the tears from his eyes quickly, choked back a shuddering gasp, and called, "I'm fine!" he uried his head in his hands, shoulders shaking as he silently cried. What did I do to him? I tried to make him happy this time, and he's ignoring me...

"Doesn't sound like you're fine," Scott said aloud, though more to himself. "Well, hurry up and get changed, and when you're done, I... need to talk to you, okay?"

Ethan looked at the door for a moment, then said, "O-okay," he finally stood up, changing out of his pajamas into sweatpants and a tight t-shirt. He ran a hand through his hair and rubbed at his eyes, willing the tears to disappear. He turned back toward the door and, with each step, took a deep breath. It'll be fine...Everything will be fine...

"Ethan, come here. You--sit," Scott instructed, pointing over his back at the empty space on the bed.

Ethan opened his mouth to complain that he wasn't a dog, but found himself about to cry again, and he instead just sat down, "Scott, what's going on?"

"Listen... I hate being blunt, but I don't really think this is going to turn out to be good idea," Scott answered quietly. "And by this I mean, this. Me and you."

"What do you mean?!" Ethan objected, standing up, "We just got back together! We sorted this out, Scott!! Why are you doing this?!" He felt the tears overflow, and he clenched his hands into fists.

"Why?! Why?! Ethan, the list of reasons why to end this is longer than the list of reasons why not to end this, if you think about it!" Scott shouted loudly. "I mean, seriously, think about it! It's not going to work out in the end."

"Scott..." Ethan whispered, grabbing the other's shoulders, "Are you insane?! I mean...Scott, I love you!! Is that not reason enough to continue this relationship?!"

"No, honestly, it's not! How am I even supposed to know that you mean it?! You've said it plenty of times back then, and then, poof! You kissed some random slut!" Scott yelled at him. "I don't care about your reason, but kissing her shouldn't have even crossed your mind! And besides, you're never going to get anywhere in life being a man having a boyfriend."

"You saying that you don't trust me?!" Ethan yelled, suddenly furious, "Fine!! Then just leave!! Get out of my stupid, shitty life and go be successful somewhere else!!" he shoved Scott backwards, ignoring the tears that fell freely from his dark eyes.

"Hey!!" Scott barked as he was shoved. "Don't you dare touch me like that!!" Fuming, he scrambled up and pulled his arm back. He thrust his fist at the other's face, hitting Ethan right in the jaw. "I've been beaten around by jerks enough during my life, so I don't need you hurting me too!!"

Ethan fell to the ground, clutching his jaw with a hiss of pain. "You know what?! Then get the fuck out of my life!! I-I never want to see you again!!!" he screamed.

"I'd love nothing more than to get out of your life, but right now, we have a tour and we're cramped in a stupid bus!! The only way for us to get some space would be me throwing you out of the bus, which I'm not completely adverse to!" Scott told him, snarling.

"Then allow me!" Ethan yelled, kicking Scott in the gut before sprinting off the bus. He burst into the managers' bus, out of breath.

"Ouch, damn it!" Scott hollered. "Ethan, you are so dead!"

"So... I have to interview with him?!" Scott shouted at Tara, gesturing wildly to Ethan. "Oh, come on! Do you want me to lie and say everything is slap-happy?!"

Tara sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, "Listen, Scott," she said slowly, "This is your publicity. If you want to screw up everything, so be it. I'm not the famous one here."

"That advice was of absolutely no help to me at all," Scott grumbled, scuffing the nice floor with his shoe. "So, I'm guessing there's no way of getting out of this interview, is there?"

"Pretty much no possibility," Tara nodded, searching her purse for a water bottle. She searched for another moment, then fished out a bag of Sour Patch Kids and tossed them to Scott, "Behave."
